Inviting an Israeli artist to Marrakech Biennale provokes normalization opponents

Inviting Israeli artist Keren Cytter to attend the fifth edition of Marrakech Biennale arts festival raised the ire of anti-normalization groups which condemned what it called the "Zionist infiltration of Morocco through art and culture"
"The Moroccan people denounce normalization and those who normalize (with the Zionist entity) for it is a military society, an apartheid state, an entity based on massacres and is responsible for displacing about 7 million Palestinians" (Feb. 7, 2014)
