"We are not Quraysh or Jews of Medina"

Egyptian Muslim cleric Salem Abdul Galil was asked the following question;

Those who commit terrorist acts feel they are helping Islam and if they get killed they become martyrs.....what do you say to them ?

"There is a thin line between martyrdom and being killed by committing terrorist attacks aimed at terrorizing citizens and ripping the nation apart, all these acts are rejected by religion no matter what the goal or intent of the perpetrator is, for we are not Quraysh and they (perpetrators) the believers as we are not the Jews of Medina and they the Muslims (of Medina)".
